At last the sun came out for our match at home against our friends from Chipstead Golf Club. This was our first ever match with our new friends at Shirley Park. During the initial negotiations both clubs laid out their requirements which is normal when feeling your way for the first time with a new club. The Hector Fudge Trophy is a completion for the four Coulsdon Club to compete against each other every year. This year it took place on 19th April. Generally the four members are from the committees of each club and is organised by the ladies team. We had a slightly later Tee than usual as rush hour travelling is a bit of a problem. The annual match with the Ladies was organised and run by the Ladies Section and was played a bit differently this year, but as usual, the fine trophy awaited the outcome of the winning section.
