Riding on a bit of a high the Coulsdon Vets arrived with lots of time to spare and I actually saw some limbering up in the practice nets and putting green before joining our friends from Woldinghan for a coffee and Bacon Roll.
After a short introduction from captain Simon there was a speedy exit to the first tee where the challenge started.
Woldingham looked in good shape and ready for a fight, but they were not aware of our recent success which I have to say seemed to galvanise us into action. The weather was as good as it could be and it was not long before we were showing Woldingham the new Coulsdon Vets!
Each match was close but we stepped up a notch or two and succeeded in securing a 5&1 win!
