At last the sun came out for our match at home against our friends from Chipstead Golf Club. After much juggling from both clubs over the past month we managed to get 5 teams together and so the day started.
Roger Wells took the helm as our other captain was sunning himself somewhere! It was a fantastic day for all and there was some extremely solid golf from both sides, and lots of friendly conversation.
It was a resounding 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 win to the Vets, the first win since we played Lingfield Park at home on 12th August 2023!.
It would be nice to think this match is the turning point for our club and I look forward to reporting on more wins this season.
