For a change the weather was favourable and the team were hankering for a win and up for the challenge. We had a very enjoyable game against Woldingham today if you discount the result. We lost 4½ to 1½. Woldingham were very good company though and everyone had an enjoyable time. Special mention to Mike Addley and Gerry Hayman who were without partners but fought valiantly throughout the game. If you don’t already play in matches please consider doing so if you are able. Great to see the lads from Addington Court again this year. Coffee and bacon baguettes demolished, introductions made and it was off to the first tee for some very interesting golf!
