it was great to meet a another new club this year and for once we had two reserves if needed and two new players, Garry and Neil were in third spot. The weather looked promising although we did have a few spots of rain as the day went on. Our course was is good shape too so having met everyone over coffee and a bacon butty, it was off. Unfortunately it proved to be a struggle to keep up with a great side, and even though we had loads of extra stokes they managed to beat us 4 1/2 to 1 1/2.
Never mind lads we’ll get I’m on the return match!
