This year’s AGM launched the Club’s 75th anniversary year. We learnt that members’ communication via text, WhatsApp, email, phone and ‘HowdidIdo’ was improved with few issues. The finances were in a very good shape such that we could keep last year’s membership fee whilst allocating £1500 to the 75th Anniversary events.The 7 home and 7 away matches played with outside clubs was higher than ever before with great fun and enjoyment and mixed results. The weather has turned and we have a beautiful day to play our return match with Addington Court. A full team was present and we set off into the sun looking for a win or at least a draw. Our return match with North Downs started in high spirits. Having lost to them at home just two weeks ago with a 4 1/2 to 1 1/2 defeat, we needed to win.
