For a change the weather was favourable and the team were hankering for a win and up for the challenge. We had a very enjoyable game against Woldingham today if you discount the result. We lost 4½ to 1½. Woldingham were very good company though and everyone had an enjoyable time. Special mention to Mike Addley and Gerry Hayman who were without partners but fought valiantly throughout the game. If you don’t already play in matches please consider doing so if you are able. After today’s Monthly Medal we gathered on the 1st tee to unveil and present the new bench to commemorate Ted Kelly, one of Coulsdon Court’s long standing members who sadly died one year ago.
