We managed 8 people for each team which is good for our annual match vs the Coulsdon Ladies. Once again the day was getting hotter by the minute and a decision was made that each team could retire if they felt it necessary due to the heat.
The first team out managed to complete the course but the remaining teams came in at the 13th.
A welcome drink and a lunch helped and the presentation of a 43 year old trophy was carried out. It was decided that the match should be an honourable draw and the trophy was given to the CCVGC to keep for the year”
