With well needed rain overnight and the temperature a little more normal, the team met up with our friends at Addington Court for what turned out to be a great day of golf.
The rain had not made much difference to the course and the slopes continued to take the ball miles off target but then both teams suffered that fate!
Back for ham, egg and chips and stories of the day were heard around the tables. A really great atmosphere with loads of laughter.
Finally the captain’s speeches and scores. It was a 3 All draw but with our win at home the overall scores was 7 & 5 to us.
Well done lads. A well deserved result!
