Our last match with Mitcham this year and with a 5&1 win at home under our belts we stood a good chance of retaining the trophy.
The weather was good and the atmosphere was humming.
After a good round of golf it was back in the club house for ham, egg and chips and the final results from the captains
We fielded 7 teams which was a good move because as the scores can in it was apparent we would need the extra support. Unfortunately it was a 5&2 loss for us but looking on the bright side we had an overall win this year with a result of 7&6, so well done team! A special thanks to Mike Addley and Terry Pendal, and Mac McRae and Reg Parsons for winning their games and allowing us to retain the glorious trophy.
