After meeting in the club house for coffee and introduction we went to our allotted tee’s. Although the sun was out it was cold start to the day. Unfortunately due to illness we only had 11 men and we struggled to make a dent in the armour of our opponents. The sun came through but it did not give us the energy we needed to overcome the home team.
Back to the club house for lunch and a well deserved drink.
Finally the results were delivered. We were saved from a white wash by Nick And Mike who managed to halve their match leaving a defeat of 5&1/2 to 1/2! Must do better next time.
