What a glorious day. After some pleading we managed to fielded a full team. The sun was beating down and the golf was good. Unfortunately not good enough to beat our hosts. This was the first of the away days for 2023 and we were not let down. 16 vets and 16 Wednesday Worriers met for bacon rolls and coffee in readiness for a days golf. Parkwood has a lot going for it. It was a cold start to our annual match for the Lightbody Trophy with the Coulsdon Ladies. 4 teams, 2 ladies and 2 gents, set off under cloudy conditions to win the wine, and of course the silver salver.
