There was a full house of 12 men champing at the bit for our first Match in 2026 at Woldingham. Always nice to see a friendly team eager to show off their amazing course, and it didn’t disappoint.
With the groundsmen out earlier than us making sure of perfection, the first team led by our captain was on the tee and the match was on.
The weather held but the wind was bitterly cold.
It was back to the clubhouse for drinks and a bite to eat before the results.
We tried hard but it was not good enough and we suffered a 5 to 1 loss with just Keith and I winning our match and you can see from the photo we played against The Incredible Hulk!
Never mind lads. It’s the first match of many so we got plenty of chances to redeem ourselves.
