What a great day to play Golf! With the temperatures soaring into the high 20’s, the aim was to stay in the shade, something most of the VETS are good at!!
The return match with our NorthDowns friends was supposed to go better than the first match where we suffered a 5 to 1 defeat.
A friendly, fun day with great banter and camaraderie, and back to the shade of the hotel for well deserved drinks and a bite to eat.
The captains for the day gave a summary of the play and then the results. It was unfortunately a 4 to 2 loss. Someone said North Downs are a tough act to follow and with that in mind we need to sharpen our swords for next years matches.
